Integrating AI into existing home inspection workflows to help inspectors reduce report writing time
Flipping
Perspective
Hi, I'm Yode, a UI/UX designer
who always finds a new angle.
Can't decide? Building an intuitive, easy-to-use Spin The Wheel widget for Garmin Connect IQ
Organizing dense monitoring data from simulation experiments so engineers can spot anomalies at a glance and act on them fast
Improving a repair matching app through design despite limited development resources
Two weeks to rebuild my portfolio from Figma Sites to Nuxt, with AI in the loop throughout
Organizing product knowledge and component rules so AI understands design context and speeds up design exploration
Hi, I'm Yode
I'm a UI/UX designer always thinking about how to make things more intuitive, and actually get them built.
It usually starts as a mess and slowly comes into focus. I genuinely love burning my brain through that process! ðŸ«

How I Think & Work
Flip Perspective
I naturally switch between user, engineering, and product lenses to find balance between needs and constraints.

Subtract
When things get too complex, I ask: can this be simpler? More intuitive? Stripping away often reveals the clearest path.

Just Build It
I love making quick prototypes to turn fuzzy ideas into something concrete and validate them early.

My Background
My background is in civil engineering. I worked on structural design and project management for large-scale public infrastructure, then transitioned to UI/UX to get closer to users and iterate at a faster pace.
That engineering foundation means I naturally factor in technical feasibility when designing. I solve problems with engineering thinking, and craft experiences with design thinking.

Things I Enjoy
I love hiking! (Not collecting peaks, though.) Also into cycling, road trips, table tennis, latte art, and the occasional wool felting.
Playground
Some quirky little things, made for no particular reason. Just for fun!😋
